PGO Vice President Mike Attara recently attended the Multi-Course Operator Retreat (MCOR), hosted by the National Golf Course Owners Association in beautiful Monterey, California. Especially following the merger of Mike’s golf management company, Spirit Golf, with Sports Facilities Companies, the event proved to be both timely and highly valuable.

MCOR brought together golf course owners, operators, and industry leaders from across the country for several days of networking, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices. As our industry continues to evolve, gatherings like this provide tremendous value through the exchange of ideas, operational insights, and strategic discussions that help all of us better serve our customers, communities, and the game itself.

The speaker lineup was outstanding, highlighted by keynote remarks from Nick Faldo, who shared perspectives from his legendary career along with insights into the future of golf. A special thanks as well to Charlie Rymer, whose energy, humor, and industry expertise helped make the program both engaging and memorable.

Mike’s key takeaways included new ideas, new relationships, and a renewed appreciation for the passionate professionals who continue to move the golf industry forward.

A huge thank you to the NGCOA team, sponsors, speakers, and fellow attendees for delivering a fantastic event.
